Laura and I both thought retirement would bring about a life of leisure and relaxation. So it's a little ironic that we both feel like we are scrambling more than ever and are always asking ourselves 'where has the time gone?'.

It is only 'perception' and if we take time to reflect on it we are living life the way we want. Of course our first priority is our family and our friends so Laura and I spend a fair bit of time on the road between Colorado, Ontario, and Florida. We are also trying to explore new places and meet new people on these expeditions, so I hope to share a little of that through these pages.

I also have a few hobbies that I hope to share some stories about through this blog. These tend to be electronics and computer related, or about beer brewing and sampling. So I hope you get a little enjoyment from the information that dribbles out of these pages!
